The Role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher Counter Hand/Pre pack to join our team.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by being friendly, responsive, approachable and helpful.
  • Be flexible and willing to work in any area of the store including registers, filling fridges and grocery shelves.
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the products we sell by completing internal training.
  • Accurately process sales through the register and ensure careful cash handling.
  • Ensure fresh and appealing displays by keeping fridges and shelves clean and stock rotated.
  • Maintain accurate signage and pricing particularly with any specials.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and well-organised working and shopping environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility in terms of hours able to work as our shops are open 7 days a week.
  • Able to provide great customer service by being approachable and friendly.
  • Good work ethic and reliability.
  • Literacy skills to read product labels.
  • Computer skills and ability to use devices to conduct stocktakes.
  • Patience and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
  • High standard of personal presentation and cleanliness.
  • Attention to detail.
