General Liability Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced General Liability Lawyer to join our busy insurance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious lawyer who is looking to develop their skills in general liability matters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a range of complex cases including personal injury, third party property damage, recoveries and WorkCover claims.

To be successful in this role you will possess sound legal and commercial acumen, enjoy dealing with clients face to face and be willing to step up and take on meaningful roles in complex insurance matters.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in general liability law and a strong understanding of the relevant legislation and case law.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a range of complex general liability cases including personal injury, third party property damage, recoveries and WorkCover claims.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve client objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and help grow the firm's insurance practice.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in general liability law.
  • Strong understanding of the relevant legislation and case law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
