About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Assessment and Approvals Specialist to join our Planning & Approvals team in Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering projects that improve the communities where we live, work, and play.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide environmental assessment and planning inputs into projects, including large-scale local and national infrastructure projects, renewable energy focused projects, transport projects, and water projects.
- Collaborate with technical discipline specialists, stakeholders, and the community to create innovative solutions.
- Support growth of the business with work-winning initiatives, including preparation of fee proposals.
- Develop new and support existing relationships with clients.
- Be part of a supportive, exceptional team of passionate environmental and planning professionals.
About You
You will have between 2-8 years of experience in planning and environmental approvals, and you will strive to resolve environmental issues to help shape outcomes in our community. You will bring the following skills and attributes:
- Experience and interest in authoring environmental impact assessment and planning approvals documents.
- A working-level understanding of Queensland's environmental assessment and planning framework.
- Developing project management skills in coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
- Be enthusiastic and motivated, and enjoy working both with independence and as part of larger teams.
- A desire to build your brand in both the QLD and national markets.
