About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Podiatrist to join our team at Advanced Personnel Management. As a Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality treatment to our patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes.

This is a part-time position that requires you to work in a multi-disciplinary setting, assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb.

Key Responsibilities
  • General Foot Care: Provide effective and efficient assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation, and evaluation of foot and lower limb conditions.
  • Diabetic Foot Health Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify and manage diabetic foot health issues.
  • Footwear and Foot Care Advice: Provide expert advice on footwear and foot care to patients, including education on proper foot care techniques.
  • Musculoskeletal Conditions: Diagnose and effectively treat musculoskeletal conditions affecting the foot and lower limb.
  • Biomechanical Examinations: Conduct thorough biomechanical examinations to identify and address biomechanical issues affecting the foot and lower limb.
  • Orthotic Prescriptions and Fittings: Provide expert advice on orthotic prescriptions and fittings to patients.
  • Quality Documentation and Treatment Planning: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient treatment plans and progress.
  • Referrals to Other Healthcare Professionals: Make referrals to other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold Professional Registration with AHPRA: Be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Qualification as a Podiatrist: Hold a qualification in Podiatry.
  • Valid Working with Children Check: Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
  • Willingness to Undergo a National Criminal History Check: Be willing to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application.
