Automotive Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Avis Budget Group. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Servicing Vehicles: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet vehicles, including cars, trucks, and company fleet, in accordance with manufacturers' specifications and company standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, requesting new parts as needed from our Service Administrator.
- Diagnostics and Repairs: Conduct diagnostic tests to identify functionality problems and perform repairs accordingly.
- Assistance and Support: Provide assistance to Trade Assistants as required and complete Repair Orders and provide breakdown assistance when necessary.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to company quality control procedures.
- Health and Safety: Conduct work in a safe manner, complying with Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental policies, procedures, and emergency evacuation procedures.
- Trade Qualification: Hold a trade qualification in Motor Mechanics (minimum Cert III Light Vehicle Mechanic) with previous experience working as a motor mechanic.
- Full Drivers' License: Possess a full drivers' license, including manual vehicles.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrate a customer-focused approach, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to Detail: Possess a high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks across multiple sites.
- Knowledge and Skills: Have knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Occupational Health and Safety legislation relevant to the role.
