Community Development Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Community Development Officer to lead key community events and programming.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating key community events, developing and delivering innovative social and community capacity building projects and programs, supporting coordination and community engagement around Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) implementation, and maintaining, developing, and implementing culturally inclusive communication tools.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Communications, Marketing, Social Sciences or equivalent industry experience.
  • Substantial experience relevant to the role including relationship management, community development, community consultation, and promotional strategy implementation.
  • A current Class C Driver's Licence.
