About the Opportunity

The Warehouse Storeperson plays a pivotal role in our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and effective flow of materials, products, and goods within the warehouse. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing logistics, and collaborating with various departments to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Oversee and conduct the receipt of incoming shipments, inspect and verify goods, and manage the shipping process.
  • Coordinate and conduct the picking and packing of orders, assigning tasks to supported personnel, and ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Provide direction and supervision to supported personnel, including training and day-to-day task assignment.
  • Enforce safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant working environment.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely product availability and address any warehouse-related issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in warehousing or a related field.
  • Hold a current Forklift licence (Mandatory).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management software, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
