Biomedical Research Fellow Opportunity at UNSW Australia

**About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Post-Doctoral Fellow to join our research team at the School of Pathology, UNSW Australia. The successful candidate will contribute to our ongoing research in immunology and have the opportunity to develop their expertise through defined projects.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a related discipline, preferably Immunology, and/or relevant work experience. They will be expected to profile immune responses using various techniques such as flow cytometry, immune cell stimulation assays, and cell culture. This role involves working independently with limited supervision and collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- To conduct high-quality academic research and contribute to the development of new knowledge and translational discoveries
- To work closely with the Senior Lecturer to design and implement research projects, including data analysis and interpretation
- To publish research findings in reputable scientific journals and present at conferences
- To maintain accurate records and reports of research progress and outcomes
Requirements:
- A PhD in a related discipline (Immunology) and/or relevant work experience
- Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments
- Demonstrated ability to undertake high-quality academic research and conduct independent research with limited supervision
- Evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
