We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Culinary Care Assistant.

Key responsibilities of this role include setting up each dining area ready for meal periods, maintaining cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene at all times.

About This Role

In this role, you will work closely with our clinical and care services teams to create a positive dining experience for residents. You will be responsible for:

  1. Setting up dining areas and ensuring a clean and organized workspace;
  2. Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout food preparation and service;
  3. Working collaboratively with the care team to deliver resident-centered care;
  4. Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring residents feel valued and respected.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in aged care or hospitality;
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, including Australian Food Standards;
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  4. A passion for delivering high-quality care and support to residents.
