About the Role

Bradnam's is seeking an experienced and reliable individual to fill the role of Despatch Loader. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks, quality checking, and pick and packing items for delivery.

This role involves a significant amount of manual lifting, therefore it is crucial that you practice safe manual handling techniques at all times.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Maintaining vehicles in a safe and clean condition
  • Safely securing items on the back of trucks and trailers before travel
  • Practicing good hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times
  • Completing all necessary paperwork and check sheets on time
  • Contributing to good housekeeping at the branch
  • Demonstrating a commitment to safe work practices
  • Assisting with loading and unloading the truck
  • Complying with location requirements regarding mandatory PPE and other processes

About You:

To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate safe manual handling techniques and a positive work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess a construction white card, medical consent, and a commitment to workplace health and safety practices including safe manual handling.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $65,000 and $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
