About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Integration Technologist to join our team at Northrop Grumman Australia, part of an 85,000 strong global Defence organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Deep Space Advanced Radar (DARC) capability, focusing on enabling the safe, quality, and timely integration of the DARC radar and mission system equipment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial Antenna Assembly and Integration
  • Conduct Initial System Integration and Check Out (SI&CO) testing
  • Attend site meetings to support execution planning, risk mitigation development, and issue resolution
  • Ensure safety, schedule, and quality-related risks and issues are reported to the Hardware Lead and the NGADARC programme manager

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally enhanced by mechanical and/or electrical trade qualifications. Your background should include experience in the construction and commissioning of communications infrastructure, with a strong ability to work effectively within a small team, innovative problem-solving skills, and a keen ability to identify and mitigate risks.
