Job Title:

Training and Development Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic professional to support a strategically significant transformation program within a federal government agency.

You will be part of a high-performing Change Management Office that provides change, communications, training, and transition support across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead innovative training strategies to support digital transformation and system readiness.
  2. Collaborate with change and program teams to align training with business needs and schedules.
  3. Evaluate training needs and readiness from current to future state.
  4. Develop engaging training materials including guides, videos, and modules.
  5. Build strong relationships across the organisation to ensure training success.
  6. Coordinate and deliver virtual and in-person training sessions.
  7. Report on training delivery, uptake, and success metrics.
Requirements:
  • AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance (or ability to obtain) and Police Check (or ability to obtain).
  • Australian citizenship and political neutrality.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience across the full training cycle – needs assessment, planning, development, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • High-quality written communication and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple work packages and understand dependencies.
  • Experience with Agile project delivery and change management frameworks.
  • Ability to develop training for diverse audiences and evaluate learner needs.
