Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Ward Support Assistant to join our team at The Alfred. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support the efficient operation of wards, including performing tasks such as cleaning, maintenance, and supplies management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
- Desirable: background in ward support or similar role in a healthcare setting
