About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Carer, supporting older people in living independently and with dignity.

As a Carer, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily tasks, providing emotional support, and offering companionship.

You will work in a caring and nurturing environment, ensuring the physical comfort and emotional health of residents are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Support residents with mobility and physical assistance.
  • Monitor and document residents' progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
  • Collaborate with the broader care team to provide holistic support to residents.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere within the care facility.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in aged care or disability support is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.
