Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our Industry Solutions Engineering (ISE) team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing statistical models, and creating data-driven solutions to drive business growth and innovation.
Responsibilities- Analyze large data sets to identify trends and patterns, and develop statistical models to predict outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualization tools to support business decision-making.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and provide data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
- Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field, and 5+ years of experience in data science.
- OR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field, and 7+ years of experience in data science.
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field, and 10+ years of experience in data science.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience working with geographically dispersed, diverse, and virtual teams.
- Enjoy travel and are comfortable with travel up to 25%.
- Demonstrated ability to work with customers and collaborate across company boundaries.
- 5+ years of customer-facing, project-delivery experience, professional services, and/or consulting experience.
