The Northern Territory Government seeks a highly skilled Critical Care Specialist Pharmacist to lead our Intensive Care Units at Royal Darwin and Palmerston Hospitals. As an integral part of the ICU multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to patients admitted to the ICU.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide line management, training, and supervisory support to ICU nursing and medical staff and pharmacy staff.
  • Coordinate the development of policy, protocol, and guideline documents related to medication management in a critical care environment.
  • Participate in relevant Department of Surgery, Critical Care, and Pharmacy Committees to improve medication safety and resource utilisation.

**Requirements:**

  • Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy.
  • Eligibility for registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
  • Extensive contemporary clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
