This role is perfect for a highly motivated and skilled financial trader who wants to make a real impact in a growing investment management company. As a specialist in executing equity trades, you will have the opportunity to deliver best practice execution while ensuring alignment with investment strategies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute equity trades across global markets, co-ordinate capital raising and IPO participation, manage basket trades, seek appropriate liquidity as instructed, implement and manage direct market access, implement trade allocation policies and ensure alignment with portfolio objectives
  • Monitor equity markets, stock flows and insights, company news flow, macroeconomic developments, and sector trends to provide actionable insights to investment teams
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with brokers and trading platforms to optimise execution quality, access differentiated market flow and negotiate appropriate commission rates
  • Ensure all trading activities adhere to internal policies, regulatory standards, and risk controls, with a strong focus on transparency and auditability
  • Leverage trading systems and data analytics tools to support efficient execution and post-trade analysis

Requirements:

Proven experience in executing equity trades, monitoring equity markets and maintaining relationships with brokers and trading platforms; Strong understanding of internal policies, regulatory standards and risk controls; Ability to leverage trading systems and data analytics tools to support efficient execution and post-trade analysis
