The role of an Evidence Officer is a critical component of our organisation's efforts to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
As a member of the evidence team, you will be responsible for undertaking evidence surveillance, appraisal and synthesis activities to support the production of guidelines that improve patient outcomes.
- This includes conducting research and analysis to identify best practices in healthcare, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement evidence-based guidelines.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, and policymakers.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual who is passionate about improving healthcare outcomes through evidence-based practice.
The successful candidate will have:
- a tertiary qualification in a relevant field from a recognised university; or
- an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
The ideal candidate will possess:
- demonstrated experience in evidence synthesis and guideline development, including use of GRADE methods
- well-developed stakeholder management skills, including a proven ability to interact with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders
- sound analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to solve problems by taking initiative, using discretion and demonstrating attention to detail
