We are seeking an experienced Occupational Doctor to join our team in the Oil & Gas Industry. As an Occupational Doctor, you will provide primary care, occupational health care, and emergency care to personnel based at our clients' sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary, occupational, and emergency care to onsite personnel
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including Registered Nurses and Registered Paramedics
  • Health assessments, screenings, return to work evaluations, and pre-employment medicals
  • Identify and assess risk management procedures and provide recommendations
  • Participate in emergency response presentations in accordance with site requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (Equivalent or Higher)
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
  • Professional recognition by Services Australia that allows access to Medicare billing items
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Minimum 5 years recent experience in remote medicine, emergency medicine, intensive care, and/or trauma care
  • Competence in primary care and occupational health
  • Previous industrial and/or remote site experience
  • Advanced Life Support 2 (ALS2)
  • Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or equivalent
  • IV Cannulation Competency Certificate
Desirable Requirements
  • Western Australia Disaster Preparedness and Management Unit Major Incident Medical Management and Support (MIMMS) advanced training
  • Certificate of Training in QIAstat-Dx Applications Training
  • Training in the management of burns in accordance with the Western Australia Disaster Preparedness and Management Unit Burns Management Program
