We are seeking a highly skilled Program Financial Analyst to join our team at Leidos Airborne Solutions Australia. As a key member of our Airborne Finance Operations team, you will play a critical role in providing expert financial advice and reporting services to support the financial management of our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our business stakeholders and Airborne Finance Operations team to provide sound financial advice and support the achievement of organisational goals.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis and financial reporting across programs and overheads, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to stakeholders.
  • Compile and review budgets and forecasts, using actual performance data and previous budget figures to inform financial decision-making.
  • Coordinate multiple financial cost analysis functions, including cost allocation, cost control systems, data collection, and report preparation to maintain our cost accounting system.
  • Liaise with our business stakeholders to ensure accurate cost allocations and cost rates, and to ensure compliance with Cost Principles.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline, such as finance, accounting, or business.
  • Demonstrable finance experience (2-4 years) from a project-based, complex business environment, including budget development, financial control, forecasting, variance analysis, and business partnering.
  • Working towards certification and professional memberships, such as CPA or CA, is desired for this role.
  • Experience working with systems such as CostPoint or similar complex ERPs, and OAC/OBI.
  • Strong working knowledge of and skills in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of financial management, reporting, and governance.
  • Experience understanding and controlling costs across projects and project delivery teams to success.
  • Experience working in aviation and/or defence industries will be highly regarded.
