Job Overview

At Insolvency Talent, we are seeking a skilled Corporate Insolvency Specialist to join our team. As an integral member of our insolvency services group, you will play a critical role in managing complex insolvency cases and providing expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist senior team members in managing insolvency cases from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolutions.
  2. Conduct thorough financial analysis and prepare detailed reports on the financial position of insolvent entities.
  3. Assist with the preparation of statutory reports, including creditor reports and declaration of solvency, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  4. Liaise with stakeholders, including creditors, directors, and other professionals involved in the insolvency process, to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  5. Participate in meetings and discussions with clients, providing sound advice on insolvency matters and helping them navigate the complexities of insolvency.
  6. Assist with the preparation of court documents and attend court hearings, ensuring that the firm's interests are represented effectively.
  7. Assist with the realization of assets and distribution of funds to stakeholders, ensuring that the process is fair and transparent.
  8. Keep up-to-date with changes in insolvency legislation and regulations, ensuring that the firm's services remain compliant and effective.
  9. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the firm, helping to drive efficiency and innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in insolvency or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of insolvency legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and mutual respect.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software, with a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
  • CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) is preferred but not essential.
