**Job Opportunity:** Senior Structural Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Designer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering structural steel and concrete designs for brownfields/greenfields projects across the mining industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality structural steel and concrete designs
  • Collaborate with project engineers and senior stakeholders to ensure compliance with design codes and standards
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
  • Conduct site visits as required to monitor progress and address any issues

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in structural design, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector
  • Proficiency in MicroStation 2D/3D and ability to learn new software quickly
  • Experience with BHP or Rio Tinto systems is an asset
  • Familiarity with OpenBuildings Design (OBD) and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
