Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. This is a fantastic opportunity for a maintenance professional to showcase their skills and make a positive impact within our organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining all plant and equipment, adhering to health service policies. They will conduct repairs and maintenance across the health service, ensuring compliance with standards, legislation, and regulations during equipment installation and maintenance.
This role involves promoting a safe working environment by adhering to Work Health Safety legislation and safe work practices. The successful candidate will also participate in risk identification and minimisation processes, support accreditation requirements as directed, and be prepared for occasional out-of-hours and on-call work.
To be successful in this role, you will require significant experience in maintenance or a relevant trade qualification. You will need to be proficient in using hand and power tools, have building and maintenance skills, and strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse customers.
You will also need to have the ability to work independently and manage time effectively, as well as problem-solving skills with a knack for fault finding. High level computer literacy and administrative skills are also essential, along with a proven background in a variety of maintenance activities.
This full-time contract is to work across our Peterborough and Orroroo sites, 3 days at Peterborough and 2 days at Orroroo. Job share arrangements will be considered for suitable candidates.
The annual salary for this position is $67,589 - $72,033 p.a., OPS3. In addition to your annual salary, you will also receive salary sacrifice benefits and other entitlements.
