Visual Merchandiser Role

We are seeking a skilled Visual Merchandiser to play a vital role in creating visually appealing product displays and layouts to attract customers and drive sales.

This is a casual, contract position working on the road, with opportunities for professional growth and development within our dynamic team.

  • Create effective visual merchandising plans to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales
  • Forecast demand accurately and plan product assortments to meet sales targets
  • Develop inventory strategies to maximize stock levels and minimize waste
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or concerns promptly
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating visually appealing product displays and layouts
  • Forecasting demand and planning product assortments
  • Developing inventory strategies to maximize stock levels
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors
  • Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Providing exceptional customer service
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
  • Ability to carry stock and navigate warehouses or storage areas
  • Flexibility to work between 8-32 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
  • Strong organizational skills to manage merchandise displays, stock levels, and inventory rotation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate product placement, pricing, and signage
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maximize productivity
  • Problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve merchandising issues or challenges independently
  • A customer-centric mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or a related field
