Job Description

As a Casual Swim Instructor at Kiama Leisure Centre, you will have the opportunity to teach and promote swimming lessons while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all students. Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons to children of various age groups.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A current AUSTSWIM, Royal Life Saving or Swimming Australia certificate with a valid CPR qualification
  • Minimum 20 hours experience as a Swimming Instructor working with children of various age groups
  • Understanding of child learning principles
  • Ability to instruct water survival techniques and work effectively as part of a team
  • Pre-employment checks, including Working with Children Check (WWCC) number and National Criminal Record Check
