Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to drive our external reporting function forward. With a strong background in financial control and external audit, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial statements and reports.

Our team is responsible for managing Coles' half-yearly financial statements, preparing Audit & Risk Committee reports, and providing technical accounting advice and support to the business.

As External Reporting Lead, you will oversee the management of DOA mailboxes and ensure compliance with relevant policies.Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in external audit or financial control/external reporting roles
  • Experience working with large corporates, preferably in retail
  • Tertiary accounting qualification (Bachelor of Commerce or similar)
  • CA/CPA with post-qualification experience
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders across the business
