We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Valuation Expert to join our In-house Valuation team in Queensland. As a key member of our Property Risk team, you will play a critical role in supporting the business objectives of our Agribusiness division.
Key Responsibilities- Verify property details and analyze comparable sales evidence to inform market analysis and property value appraisals.
- Provide expert property valuations to support credit assessment and management of Agri-loans and loan portfolios.
- Collaborate with front-line Agribusiness Relationship Managers to appraise property values and inform credit submissions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Panel valuation firms and review their reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Certified Practising Valuer status (essential)
- Associate or Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (API), or RICS equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage and influence to achieve agreed objectives.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, with strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Integrity, tact, and ability to maintain confidentiality, with sound negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
