Job Summary
Morse Micro is seeking a skilled Electronics Lab Technician to join our team and contribute to the development of revolutionary wireless technology. As an Electronics Lab Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing electronic components, soldering small components, and assisting in rework and modification tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Electronic Component Assembly: Assemble and test electronic components according to work instructions and provided training.
- Soldering and Rework: Solder small electronic components (0603, 0402, and sometimes 0201 sizes) and assist in rework and modification tasks.
- Lab and Production Operations: Assist in receiving goods, inventory management, and setup, maintenance, and support activities as required.
- Quality Control and Improvement: Contribute to best practice quality control and continuous improvement activities, update documentation, and provide feedback to improve processes and systems.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience as an Electronic Assembler within an electronic engineering or manufacturing background is ideal.
- Soldering Skills: Must have experience soldering small electronic components.
- IPC Certification: Ideally IPC-certified (either current or previously).
- Hand Tools: Be familiar with hand tools commonly used in electronic production.
- Testing Procedures: Have experience following testing procedures and using test jigs/fixtures.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Teamwork: Positive attitude and respect for other team members.
- Reliability: Reliable and punctual.
- Task Prioritization: Ability to organize and prioritize several tasks.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and enthusiastic approach.
