At Blue Projects, we're seeking a seasoned Industrial Design Draftsman to spearhead our contract-based industrial projects in Sydney. This is an exceptional opportunity for a detail-driven professional who excels in creating precise technical drawings and schematics using 2D and 3D CAD tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed designs for industrial projects utilizing 2D and 3D CAD software
  • Develop PFDs, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and piping/mechanical designs that meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into accurate documentation
  • Foster effective communication with civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation teams
  • Evaluate compliance with safety protocols and ensure all documents are up-to-date
  • Support design reviews, propose improvements, and maintain drawing records for reference
  • Assist with production plans, specifications, and documentation such as FDS and SOPs
Requirements
  • A relevant Associate's degree or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in industrial project drafting
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and applicable safety regulations
  • Proficiency in CAD systems (2D & 3D), Microsoft Office; MS Project is advantageous
  • Excellent time management, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Based in or near Sydney
