About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Earthworks Project Manager for Bulk Operations to lead and manage a portfolio of strategic projects in our Bulk Earthworks and Civils team.

This role is pivotal in shaping program strategies, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, and overseeing resource allocation. As a key member of our team, you will provide guidance and ensure effective communication between study leads, stakeholders, and internal partners throughout the project lifecycle.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing program execution plans, managing budgets, resources, and stakeholder relationships, and driving strategic planning and process development. Experience in D3 and D5 standards, site delivery, and commissioning of bulk earthworks and civils projects is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Establishment: Develop a program charter to define the strategy for delivering the program.
  • Execution Planning: Support study leads in developing program and project execution plans.
  • Program Execution: Coordinate the roll-out of the program with a team of Study Leads and Engineers, delivering projects across RTIO Pilbara operations.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with site leaders, asset owners, and contracting partners.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage directly with Delivery Superintendents to ensure projects are adequately supported and resourced.
  • Communication: Provide regular communication and reporting on program metrics to key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A commitment to safety and leadership skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in managing budgets and resources.
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil/Structural/Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in site delivery and commissioning of bulk earthworks and civils projects is highly beneficial.
