About the Role

NES Fircroft is seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet their requirements.
    • Organize design inputs from various sub-contractors and manage project schedules and costs.
    • Contribute to tender submissions and conduct site inspections, audits, and works supervision.
  • Civil Design
    • Develop civil design deliverables and documentation for water and wastewater infrastructure, including engineering calculations, hydraulic/surge modeling, detailed design drawings, technical specifications, and reports.
    • Coordinate design outputs with drafting services and ensure compliance with relevant local design codes and standards.
  • Experience and Qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering with a proven ability to lead and manage projects independently.
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
    • Construction Induction (White Card) and experience in water and sewerage engineering, including pump station design, pipeline design, hydraulics/modelling, design management, planning, and feasibility studies.
    • Knowledge of relevant local design codes and standards (SEQCode, WSAA, Australia Standards) and experience in AutoCAD, Civils3D, 12D, and Navisworks.
