We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at a 77 place Long Day Care Centre based in Sydney, NSW.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and pro-active teacher with a drive to succeed to work in the Preschool Room, with the potential to take on additional leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement daily lesson plans and activities that align with the curriculum and promote age-appropriate learning.
  • BUILD RAPPORT WITH CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, CREATING A WARM AND ENGAGING CLASSROOM COMMUNITY.
  • Utilize developmentally appropriate practices to meet the individual needs of each child and support their overall growth and development.
  • Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment while promoting healthy habits and hygiene practices.
  • Collaborate with coworkers and families to ensure the success of each child's development and progress.

Requirements
  • Be a resident of Australia or have full working rights.
  • Hold a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent).
  • Hold NESA accreditation.
  • Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis, and asthma qualifications.
  • Current Employment Working with Children Check.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Early Childhood Education models, particularly the EYLF and NQF.
  • Two professional references.
