Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our team at Findmea, a leading food processing and value adding company. As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general maintenance tasks, including attending to breakdowns and minimizing downtime
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance systems to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure the effective operation of the plant
  • Perform fault-finding and troubleshooting tasks on PLCs and other electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and procedures

Requirements:

  • Trade-qualified and licensed electrician with experience in a manufacturing facility, preferably in the FMCG industry
  • Proficient in the use of PLCs from a fault-finding perspective
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of up to $53.89, plus superannuation
  • Higher rates apply with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • A permanent position with fixed shifts (arvo/night)
