About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Strategic AToD Program Manager. As a key member of our Programs and Implementation Directorate, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of mental health programs and packages for the Defence workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain AToD programs, initiatives, and activities that promote evidence-based health promotion practices
  • Prepare and contribute to the development of mental health training materials, policies, and processes
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement AToD initiatives, programs, and policies
  • Use project management and stakeholder engagement skills to coordinate Subject Matter Expertise and mental health training facilitator feedback
  • Evaluate programs and initiatives to measure their success and identify areas for improvement
About Our Team

The Mental Health and Wellbeing Branch is a growing inter-disciplinary team focused on improving the mental health and wellbeing of the Defence community. We design and coordinate whole-of-Enterprise data-driven programs and promotion activities that are underpinned by contemporary best practice, scientific evidence, and lived experience.

What We're Looking For
  • Advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in the management and implementation of national or large-scale strategic AToD programs
  • Skills and experience in AToD program design, development, and implementation
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in an integrated environment
  • High-level organisational skills, self-drive, and initiative
  • Ability to establish clear plans and timeframes and respond positively to change and uncertainty
