About the Role

At Rio Tinto, we are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Process Superintendent – Process Support. As part of our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, this role will play a key part in driving operational and technical excellence within our Reduction Lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively improve the work environment to reduce health, safety, and environmental risks;
  • SUPPORT your team to improve safety culture through the continued implementation of the Safety Maturity Model and RTSPS;
  • Implement and sustain process safety standards for critical risks;
  • Drive operational and technical excellence by mentoring and identifying development opportunities for team members;
  • Ensure team objectives/work schedules are maintained in line with production expectations;
  • Optimise plant performance by leading a diverse team in continual improvement projects;
  • Establish and maintain key routines and systems to produce quality products;
  • Work closely with technical and operations stakeholders both on site and within the wider business.
About You

We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills, experience in a similar heavy industry with complex procedures, and a strong quality assurance focus. Your excellent ability to interpret and challenge data/metrics, along with your experience in a process-related role, will enable you to drive results-oriented improvements and make informed decisions.
