We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Rockpool Bar & Grill in Sydney.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a renowned culinary team, ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and supplies into the kitchen.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Team Member will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying deliveries of food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.

Accurate storage of inventory in designated areas and ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO) is also a key responsibility.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving, inspecting, and verifying deliveries of food, beverages, and kitchen supplies
  • Accurately storing inventory in designated areas and ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO)
  • Organizing and distributing items to various kitchen and service areas as required
  • Keeping track of inventory levels and assisting with stocktaking
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the loading dock and storage areas
  • Communicating effectively with kitchen staff and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Assisting with the management of returns and damaged goods
  • Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
About You
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role (preferably in the hospitality or food industry)
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy boxes and items
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist across various areas of the business
