Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MC Driver to join our team at our Kalgoorlie operations. As an integral part of our logistics network, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.


Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to your base rate, you can expect attractive hourly rates with allowances payable.


Job Description

This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced driver to operate prime movers and associated equipment across various routes. You will be responsible for:

  • Efficient operation of prime movers and associated equipment.
  • Completing all necessary associated documentation.
  • Initiating action to prevent deficiencies in delivery of product.
  • Taking good care of vehicles/plant under your care.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety, fatigue, Main Roads Heavy Vehicle Operating Guidelines, and company guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A current MC Drivers License (Essential).
  • Dangerous Goods (DG) license (Essential).
  • Experience in driving heavy bulk vehicles and other heavy machinery.
  • The ability to work autonomously using a proactive approach to task resolution.
  • The ability to work well within a small team environment.
