This highly rewarding Accountant position, based at our vibrant Mt Waverley Office, will see you playing an integral role within our busy Finance team.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly Management Reports with detailed commentary on variances
- Review of Management Reports prepared by the Assistant Accountants prior to distribution
- Complete and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Complete monthly reconciliation adjustments post review with Management
- Invoice Coding
- Assist in the management of the Financial Reporting team, including reviewing work completed by Assistant Accountants
- Review payment summaries and commission calculations
- Assist with audit and statutory requirements including FBT and BAS
- Assist with the maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
- Ad hoc projects as required

The successful candidate will have:
Requirements:- Need to be able to learn quickly, to step up and help take on reviewing team work
- Tertiary qualified in Finance
- Completed or currently studying towards CPA or CA would be an advantage
- Proven experience in a Financial Accounting role within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to work autonomously with a positive and innovative approach to all tasks undertaken.
