We are seeking talented and experienced Kitchen Supervisors/Cooks at Wahlburgers in Surfers Paradise, QLD. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with daily kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of consistency, and ensuring a safe and harassment-free environment for all team members.

Job Description

We are looking for individuals who possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork, and a systematic approach to work. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in high-volume kitchen environments, preferably in supervisory roles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Kitchen Managers and Assistant Kitchen Managers with daily kitchen operations;
  • Maintaining our high standards for consistency in recipe and menu item execution;
  • Helping maintain professional restaurant and team member image, including restaurant cleanliness and appearance standards;
  • Ensuring a safe and harassment-free environment for all Team Members and Managers;
Key Skills and Qualifications

Critical skills required include:

  • Excellent interpersonal/listening/communication skills;
  • Ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork through self-confidence, attitude, and enthusiasm;
  • Knowledge of operations and maintenance of commercial food preparation equipment;
  • Organized and systematic approach to work and the ability to prioritize efficiently;
  • Attention to detail;

Specific requirements for Kitchen Supervisors/Cooks (Full-Time) include:

  • Minimum 3 years' kitchen work experience in high-volume environments; supervisory roles preferred;
  • Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations and meticulous culinary skills;
  • Ability to manage inventory and allocate responsibilities and resources;
