Prosthetic Stock Manager

Permanent Full-Time Opportunity

About the Role

As a Prosthetic Stock Manager, you will oversee the hospital's prosthesis inventory using computerized systems. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure timely access to required prosthetic supplies and provide high-level customer service and efficiency in distribution.

You will report to the Supply Manager and be responsible for:

  • Daily activities collecting, collating, and processing theatre charge sheets for patient billing in medical software
  • Reconciling billing of theatre prosthetics and rebateable items
  • Ensuring accurate recording and data entry of patient perioperative data and prosthesis numbers
  • Liaising with Patient Accounts, Theatre, and Supply teams to resolve billing queries
  • Resolving errors in reported usage and taking appropriate action regarding patient billing

About Your Skills

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience working in large-scale inventory networks with hospital/medical background
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail
  • Experience with computerized systems or equivalent is desirable
  • Relevant logistics/supply qualifications highly desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of medical prosthetics and private health funds is beneficial
