About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Supervisor to join our team at Homestyle Aged Care. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Food Service Assistants to provide high-quality meals for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of Food Service Assistants to ensure the delivery of fresh, high-quality meals
  • Ensure that the kitchen is clean and safe food handling practices are followed
  • Cater for special dietary requirements and ensure that all meals are nutritious and well presented
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef Manager to achieve kitchen goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Experience as a Cook in aged care
  • HLTFSE001 'Follow basic food safety practices'
  • HLTFSE005 'Apply and monitor food safety requirements'
  • HLTFSE007 'Oversee the day-to-day implementation of food safety in the workplace'
  • Current and valid police check
  • Vaccination certificate
