Hydraulic Systems Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced hydraulic technician to work in our busy centre with a focus on hydraulic components.
This role reports to the service supervisor and involves effectively carrying out major and minor repairs on Caterpillar components.
About the Role- Carry out overhaul, repair, and maintenance of earthmoving, construction, mining, and agricultural components.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and test hydraulic cylinder components.
- E nsure appropriate standard operating procedures are applied at all times.
- Comply with safety, health, and environment procedures.
- Cultivate and mentor trade assistants and apprentices.
You will require the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- A qualified diesel fitter/technician.
- Component rebuild experience.
- Physical ability to lift 20kgs, drive, and operate plant and machinery.
- A strong commitment to safety, health, and environment procedures.
- Confident computer skills.
- A current drivers' licence.
- A working knowledge of parts and service systems.
- Previous supervision or mentoring of trades assistants and apprentices.
