As a key representative of our institution, the Domestic Student Recruitment Officer plays a pivotal role in promoting higher education opportunities to domestic students. This position requires a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with industry partners, school administrators, and career advisors to drive student enrolment.">
Key Responsibilities

The Domestic Student Recruitment Officer is responsible for generating domestic, higher education new student enrolments for our institution's higher education entity. The role involves:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with industry partners, schools, community events, service centers, and corporate offices to promote our courses.
  • Scheduling and conducting regular visits to industry partners, schools, and community events to actively promote our courses.
  • Developing and presenting tailored course solutions to industry partners, educational stakeholders, and corporate decision-makers.
  • Attending key recruitment events, including Open Days and career events, representing our institution's offerings effectively.

Key responsibilities also include engagement with prospective students, providing accurate information and advice on our courses and enrolment policies, supporting prospective students in completing their enrolment, and collaborating with the Admissions team to obtain additional information.

The role also involves market feedback, providing insights to the Manager and Course Advisors, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and assisting in implementing changes.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor qualification or higher
  • At least 3 years' experience in field sales within a higher education environment
  • Proven ability to nurture leads from first contact to conversion
  • Strong presentation skills

Candidates should also have:

  • IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • High-level understanding of key requirements of relevant regulatory frameworks, especially the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021
  • A valid drivers license and a personal vehicle are necessary
