Position Overview:

As a Perioperative Nurse, your key responsibilities will include preparing patients for surgery, assisting surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications and anesthesia as needed, educating patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery, and maintaining accurate and thorough patient records. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare patients for surgery, offering comfort and support.
  2. Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs and promptly respond to any changes.
  4. Administer medications and anesthesia as needed.
  5. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.
  6. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver top-notch patient care.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.

Qualifications:

  1. Current APHRA
  2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  3. Certification in perioperative nursing
  4. Prior perioperative nursing experience – Minimum of 2 years experience
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
