Role Overview

We are seeking a proficient IT Desktop Support Technician to deliver technical assistance and upkeep for our organization's desktop computing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in desktop support, troubleshooting, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Delivering high-quality face-to-face, phone, and email support to customer personnel across various locations. Setting up, configuring, and diagnosing hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops. Collaborating with end-users to address technical challenges promptly and effectively. Conducting routine maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and system enhancements. Overseeing and managing desktop security, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards. Working closely with IT teams to facilitate the seamless integration of desktop systems with other infrastructure components. Keeping accurate and current documentation of desktop configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting methods. Creating and revising user manuals to empower end-users to resolve common issues independently.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or in a similar capacity. Familiarity with hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting methodologies. Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities. Current active Government Security clearance with the capacity to obtain and maintain high-level clearance.
