About the Role

This is a critical leadership position that requires a seasoned project director to lead the successful implementation of the Yanco Delta Wind Farm project. The project involves the construction of a new wind farm with an expected capacity of 1500 MW, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the project from the early contractor involvement (ECI) phase to the final delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the project team to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project management plan, including risk management, cost control, and quality assurance.
  • Manage the interface with stakeholders, including the project sponsor, customers, and external partners.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial requirements, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Lead the development of tender and contract packages to support the project delivery.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in construction project leadership roles, preferably in the wind energy sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale capital projects, including wind farms.
  • Strong knowledge of project management and construction management systems and principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire confidence and urgency within the team.
  • Tertiary qualification in project management and/or a related engineering discipline.
