We are seeking an experienced Pit Builder to join our team as a Pit Construction Specialist.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work on multiple subdivision and road construction projects across the Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast regions. As a Pit Construction Specialist, you will be responsible for constructing storm water and sewer pipeline manholes, prepping and pouring storm water, sewer structures, and gully pits. You will also have the opportunity to develop your career by gaining formal qualifications and enhancing your skills with nationally recognised tickets including a Certificate III Civil Construction Pipe Laying.
Key Responsibilities- Constructing storm water and sewer pipeline manholes
- Prepping and pouring storm water, sewer structures, and gully pits
- Completing builds to SEQ requirements including PE Lining and steel
- Conducting confined space entry and live sewer work
- Working with dumpy levels
- Stripping and cleaning forms
- Rendering and benching
- Demonstrate experience in construction of manholes/pits
- Read and understand plans and comply with standard specifications
- Construction Induction Card/White Card
- Valid Driver's License
- Weekly wages paid + penalties
