Unlock a rewarding career as a Technical Design Officer in our team, where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality design and project support for projects across South West Victoria. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for the design, estimating, and project management of overhead, underground, sub-transmission, and optic fibre infrastructure within our network.

We're seeking a technically skilled professional with experience in utility design to join us on this exciting journey. If you have a Certificate of Technology (Electrical) or equivalent tertiary-based qualification, and previous design experience in the electrical distribution or sub transmission industry, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective design advice and guidance on the design of overhead lines, ensuring compliance with relevant technical manuals, OH&S Act, 'Safety in Design' guidelines, and customer requirements.
  • Conduct minor surveying activities to verify designs produced by others, as well as manufacturer-supplied drawings, in accordance with agreed standards and company requirements.
  • Prepare detailed construction plans for distribution, sub-transmission, and station design projects, maintaining system records in accordance with appropriate standards and customer requirements.
