Position Overview
Apprenticeship Central is seeking a skilled tradesperson to complete a Certificate III in Cabinet Making. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including residential and commercial customers.
About the Role
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a cabinet making apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting experienced tradespeople with various tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling cabinetry components.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced tradespeople with various tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling cabinetry components.
- Develop skills in using hand tools and machinery, such as table saws and drills.
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness, as the role requires frequent lifting and standing.
- Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time.
Requirements
- Aged 16 years or older (no upper age limit)
- No prior experience necessary, as on-the-job training will be provided
- A manual licence and reliable vehicle for transport to work
- A white card and working at heights clearance desirable
