Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to manage our electrical instrumentation and control projects from conception to completion.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects that maximise efficiency, safety, and reliability in our complex heavy industry environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of electrical instrumentation and control projects, including design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Develop and implement strategies for new and existing facilities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee electrical system calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest electrical technologies and advancements, actively seeking opportunities to implement them for improved performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design, implementation, and maintenance within a heavy industry setting.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of electrical control systems (PLC, DCS), instrumentation types, and communication protocols.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong focus on safety and adherence to industry regulations.
